Vi launches new international roaming packages with unlimited data and calls starting at Rs. 599

 


Vi (formerly known as Vodafone Idea) launched new unlimited international roaming packages for its customers on Monday. The new Vi Unlimited International Roaming packages range from Rs. 599 to Rs. 5999. The former is valid for 24 hours, while the latter offers a validity of 28 days. Customers traveling to countries such as United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Australia, Thailand, and Brazil can opt for these aircraft. It offers unlimited voice and data support on its roaming networks in all travel destinations. Vi postpaid roaming plans have an always-on feature to avoid exorbitant international roaming charges even after the subscribed plan has expired.

The telecom operator launched a new range of international roaming packages for customers on Monday. Vi international roaming packages start at Rs. 599 with a validity of 1 day up to Rs. 5,999 packages with a validity of 28 days. They offer unlimited voice calls and data.

Vi currently offers roaming services in 81 countries with local service providers. Also, an always-on feature was unveiled to ensure subscribers aren't overcharged even after the subscribed plans expire. For example, if travelers who have subscribed to Vi's seven-day postpaid roaming package need to extend their stay, they can continue to use their phones for voice, text, and data and will be billed at standard usage rates not exceeding the user's value of Rs. 599. If Rs. 599 is exceeded, the user will be charged Rs. 599 for each additional day they use the international roaming facility.
